2010 Election Schedule is: May 4, 2010 County Primary Election To qualify as a candidate in the County Primary election you must file qualifying petitions by the deadline date of Feb. 18, 2010, NOON (candidate petitions may be picked up now at the Election Commission office). Last date to register: Mon., April 5, 2010 Early voting: April 14 through April 29, 2010 ----------------------------------------- August 5, 2010 State Primary, County General Election To qualify as a candidate in the State Primary election you must file qualifying petitions by the deadline date of April 1, 2010, NOON (candidate petitions may be picked up Jan. 1, 2010). Last date to register: Tues., July 6, 2010 Early voting: July 16 through July 31, 2010 ----------------------------------------- November 2, 2010 State General Election Last date to register: Mon., Oct. 4, 2010 Early voting: Oct. 13 through Oct. 28, 2010 -----------------------------------------
